1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Fairline Research website, valuation reports, models, calculators, newsletters and related services (together, the “Services”). “Fairline”, “we” and “us” mean Fairline Research. By using the Services you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Not investment advice
Everything we publish — fair-value estimates, valuation ranges, market data, portfolio allocations and calculator results — is general information for educational and research purposes. It is not personalized investment advice, and it is not a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security.
Fair values are estimates built on assumptions that may turn out to be wrong. Past performance does not guarantee future results, and you may lose money investing. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Consider consulting a licensed professional before acting on any information from the Services.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or buy a subscription. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your login details confidential, and tell us promptly at support@fairlineresearch.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account. Individual accounts are for one person and may not be shared.
4. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, in Vietnamese đồng (VND), at the price shown when you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Free trials convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
- Payments are not refundable for partial periods, except where the law requires otherwise.
- We will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, which applies from your next billing period.
- Institutional plans are governed by a separate written agreement.
5. Acceptable use
Individual plans are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- copy, resell, redistribute or publicly post our reports, models or data, in whole or in substantial part;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download content, or access the Services by automated means without our written permission;
- use the Services to build a competing product, or to train machine-learning models;
- interfere with the security or operation of the Services.
Short quotations with clear attribution to Fairline Research are welcome.
6. Intellectual property
The Services, including reports, models, charts, text, software and the Fairline name and logo, are owned by Fairline Research or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Downloadable Excel models may be modified for your own analysis, but the licence restrictions in section 5 still apply to them.
7. Data and accuracy
Our analysis draws on companies’ published financial statements and on third-party market data. We work to keep it accurate and current, but data can contain errors, delays or omissions, and companies may restate their figures. The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fairline Research is not liable for any investment losses or for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify subscribers by email or on the website before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Services after that means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms. You may stop using the Services and cancel your subscription at any time.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. We will first try to resolve any dispute informally — please contact us. Disputes that cannot be resolved this way will be settled by a competent court in Vietnam.
